
Non-communicable diseases is an essential course that will prepare the students of public health on how manage and control diseases of public health relevance. This is aside from furnishing the students with the requisite knowledge on non-communicable diseases. Students of public health will require and appreciate the knowledge of this course in order to curb or reduce mortality in any community or public health setting as a result of an outbreak of a non-infectious disease. Consequently, this will help public health officials in the prevention, control, and management of non-communicable diseases to retain a very good public health status.
