This course introduces students to the principles, requirements, and practices of sustainable construction within the Nigerian and African contexts. It explores how sustainability shapes environmental services, cost, quality, materials, and policies, and examines real-life projects influenced by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDGs). Students will engage with case studies, critical evaluations, and policy analyses aimed at promoting sustainable development in the built environment.
