The module, Africa and the western powers focuses on the pattern of relationship between Africa and the western powers. It delves into the manner the relations evolved, how it was shaped and the principles that have shaped it. The course will provide students with a deep sense of understanding on how these locally developed objectives of relations were used to shape the relations between Africa and other world powers and can be applied to today’s local problems.
