Preparation of final accounts, report writing using MS word, PowerPoint presentations using charts and graphs, Use of MS Project and other project management software. Advanced usage of CAD Measure and QS CAD for measurement of AutoCAD drawings. Use of dedicated QS software for measurement and production of bill of quantities such as master bill elite, build soft. Use of dedicated QS software for estimating; Use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools for QS functions – quantification, costing, valuation and scheduling. Group assignments and learning tasks to promote peer support in developing the requisite knowledge and skills in software usage.
