Course Description
This course is designed to help the students acquire detailed knowledge in screen writing as well as understanding the basics of film animation. It also provides the students with information on the course contents, with a list of relevant materials you will need to obtain an in-depth understanding of the subject matter.
The course design is structured in a way that would enable you gain insight into the course. It will engage you in productive thinking through the various issues you will study.
Learning outcomes
It is expected that at the end of this course students who have gone through this course would be able to:
1.Have a higher level of understanding of the principles
of screen writing.
2.Discuss the nature of film script
3.Explain film animation
4.Know the history of animation and development of cartoon
films.
5.Outline the traditional technique of animation and
recent technical innovation.
6.Know how to prepare and do a treatment of verbal script,
the story board and visual chorography.
7.Outline the uses of animation its place in
entertainment, public relations, advertising and research.
